“A fast paced everyday life – with freedom under responsibility.”

What tasks do you typically handle on a daily basis?
I’m part of the Aftersales department, where I work with aftersales, claims, negotiations, and estimates, but also spare parts handling, transport, and re work. In addition, I’m responsible for the daily operations, keeping an overview of the team’s tasks and priorities. As a link between many functions, I have a broad interface and collaborate closely with other departments in Denmark, colleagues in China and Vietnam, as well as suppliers and customers in many different countries. I thrive in the high pace and the close communication with many different stakeholders. And I love the variety and unpredictability of my job – never quite knowing what the day will bring.

What is your background?
I originally trained as a bookkeeper. I joined Tradepoint in 2016, starting in the finance department through a temp agency. Alongside finance tasks, I also handled orders and product registrations. After a few years, I moved to the department where I am today. Having tried many different tasks over the years has given me a solid business understanding. I also have many years of experience as a waiter – probably why I enjoy speed and variety so much.

What makes Tradepoint a good place to work?
My fantastic colleagues and the strong team spirit mean a lot. Here there’s freedom with responsibility, and it goes both ways – when you give something, you get something back. The company does a lot to ensure employee well being, for example, we recently built a large cultural area for community and knowledge sharing, as well as quiet booths for individual focus. There’s a short distance from top to bottom, and mutual respect for both professionalism and personality. Everyone greets each other, regardless of role.

What would you say to others considering applying for a job here?
If you thrive in a busy everyday life with exciting and personal challenges, this is the place for you.

Do you have a hobby that might surprise your colleagues?
Many are surprised that I’m both a motorcyclist and a hunter. I own several motorcycles and hunt with both shotgun and rifle. A big dream of mine is to travel to Africa, where I can combine unique travel experiences with hunting.

If you were to describe the culture in three words, which would you choose?

  • Recognition – we give a pat on the shoulder when things go well, and feedback when there’s room for improvement
  • Pace – we’re prepared to move fast and handle many different tasks
  • Care – colleagues are informal, helpful, and contribute to making this a great place to be.
