“My job is both my passion and my hobby.”

What tasks do you typically handle on a daily basis?
I’m responsible for our graphic material – everything from creating sales brochures, presentations, trade fair invitations, and various cards to photographing products, employees, and environments. In addition, I design our showroom and make sure that at trade fairs in places like Germany and Shanghai we always present ourselves with an attractive stand, the right furnishings, and the expression we want to convey.

What is your background?
I trained as a visual merchandiser at Salling Group in 2001 and have worked the profession ever since. I use that experience every day when working with interior design and the visual presentation of our products. I’ve been with Tradepoint since 2016.

What is the best thing about your job?
Interior design is my passion, and I love making our furniture look its very best. It’s amazing to get paid for doing your hobby every day. My job is very versatile, and I’m involved in activities across the whole company – something I really appreciate, since I’m not made to sit behind a computer screen all day. My most important task is to make the sales team’s everyday life a little easier, and it means a lot to be able to make a difference for my colleagues.

What makes Tradepoint a good place to work?
I have the freedom to be myself and to leave my own mark on everyday life. We have a strong sense of togetherness with room for diversity and mutual respect – both professionally and personally.

What would you say to others considering applying for a job here?
They’ll meet kind, fun, and skilled colleagues with a strong team spirit. We help each other across disciplines, and that makes everyday life both easier and more enjoyable.

Do you have a hobby that might surprise your colleagues?
I practice rhythmic gymnastics to keep both my mind and body in shape. It’s a team sport where we’re deeply dependent on each other – just like in my work. Funny enough, coordination is one of my strengths at work, but in the sports hall it sometimes feels like my arms and legs have a life of their own.

Can you share a memorable experience from your job?
When we had to unload two large containers of furniture for our showroom. Colleagues from all over the company dropped what they were doing and pitched in. It was hard work, but also a fantastic example of our team spirit and willingness to pull together.
